The Weekly Smile 8/10/20

Oh man. This last week. Crazy days. I have a new kid who started last Monday, and it’s been a rough transition. I am just trying to keep up.

I felt it creeping up last Wednesday and by Friday night, it was confirmed. My summer sinus cold was here. No fever, just aches, sinus pains, and all the nasty stuff that comes with it.

I sucked it up-though not quite in a fabulous buttercup fashion, and went to our annual Watermelon Festival in Forestburg, Texas. The parade seemed smaller, but was great. We then went swimming at the community pool in Muenster-also a tradition as it was the last open weekend.

I’m glad the kids enjoyed it. I almost thought I was not going to make it. Thankful I did.

This week is going to be crazy too! My daughter has her final dance practice tomorrow and filming is on Thursday. My teenager is working and my almost teen I don’t even know what is happening. Except one way or another his room has got to be cleaned! 🤮 My girl also has another dental appointment on Wednesday. I’m forgetting something….I’m sure I’ll find out.
