Brain Sense

Well, this pretty much shoved a giant stop sign in my face. A huge wave of electricity shot up to that invisible lightbulb over my head. Basically, I heard myself tell myself to use my brains. Use the smart button you have, and clean that mess up.

It’s not just the mess on our landing strip. It’s the bare spots that need to be filled with the right environments. Those bare spots will fill in like weeds, and we will see that nastiness cleaned out without any hesitation on our parts.

It also means we have to choose the environments to fill our landing strips. We have to choose who we allow to be road hazards vs. sideline cheerleaders.

It’s not always easy. God didn’t say it would be-He said trust Him when it’s not. I could do better on that one. I had a clear landing strip, but through guilt and desperation I have allowed the mess to return. And it’s time to get the street sweeper on patrol.
