FOWC Word: Memory

We swung by Ft. Belknap on our way out of town, for my picture hunting day. My husband is a history buff, and I learned a lot this day.

The sidewalk leading up to the chapel caught my eye. Pretty flowers, and a blend of stickers. Praises and open wounds walked in to this chapel. I envision a memory of families thanking God for their safety, and some questioning the loss of loved ones.

A memory is an emotion remembered. Weather good or bad, our brains retain what appears to be most important.

In memory of the families and soldiers who struggled here, you are not forgotten.
