If There Is One Thing

Today was, for certain , bittersweet. Today was the final goodbye to my grandmother. I got to see family and meet family and catch up with family. My kids got to meet family, and hopefully start new relationships. It all turned out beautifully. And of course, I don’t want to leave. Even though I’ve had altitude sickness, had to eat things I’m not supposed to, faced my fear of heights-I want to keep it all.

  3. I’m sorry for your loss. It is so hard to say goodbye. If we could only freeze time and put that away somewhere safely. It is strange how even in grief we want to hold on to what we are feeling.
