Self Fantasy

Am I the colossal monster?

Always ready

Always guarded

Always prepared to fight-

Or have you twisted it in my mental memory?

You instigate with negativity

You falsify the facts

You choose to fight about everything-

Why must you twist it all in your words?

I am not the beast

I am not unworthy

I am not what you say I am!

And I will protect myself

And I will protect my family

And I will call you on your hypocrisy-

If that makes me a monster in your world

I must remember the only idol you have is yourself-
