Learning To Use Scissors

I know that I can thread a needle. I can use that thread to fix small holes in pillows, stuffed animals, and missing buttons. But for whatever reason, I can’t undo the knots in the thread that is my current ripped and jagged fabric of my daily wear. Not for lack of trying. Every time I think I’ve got a piece stitched up, there’s another strand coming loose somewhere else. The strongest thread I know I have is the one tied directly to Jesus. Only because of him do I try to re-thread that needle daily.
