Not Now

Turk here came into our lives last fall and regardless of what he’s tried to say, he’s been a blessing to us. And a hero to my daughter. He will do anything for you, and he’s been through it all. And he’s one of the greatest lessons of grace, forgiveness, and what it means not to judge another.

And now he’s lying still in that ICU bed losing the Covid battle. He’s fought hard. And he’s tired. So while we don’t know when, it could be anytime, please say a prayer for him and his family and those of us who love him. We didn’t get and we don’t get to say goodbye. God can still work that miracle if He chooses, but we don’t always get to know the why answers if He doesn’t.

It still hurts and it doesn’t seem real. I keep looking for updates because he was doing so good at one point. One moment at a time.
