Smoldered

I watch

I see you and listen

To the complaints of self

That are somehow my fault

In your narcissistic world

The self loathing

That you contribute to

With no help from me

Yet my eyes burn from the view

And my ears cry for your voice to dissipate

So the true insignificance

Of your choice to remain helpless

Stays silent
