Trying to Taste

No please not that menu again

Not sure why it keeps showing up

It only offers options that spoil

Leaving rancid burning aftertaste –

I’m looking for the the other one

That I’ve been dreaming of

That shows freshness anew

Allowing me to savor the freedom

Of biting into deliciousness

That comes without your cost –
