From the Past Somewhere

I’m not really sure how they moved this bridge. It’s a piece of history now sitting in a field just off the road. It has been there long enough for the trees to grow up through its bottom, claiming it as a part of the land itself. Who traveled it? When was it built? Why was it moved? There’s not a history marker near it. It makes me sad to see such a story forgotten.

  1. How odd to have craned it into te field and just abandoned it. You’d think they have dismantle and recycle it or reused it elsewhere. Least it made for an interesting photo.
