Monday Windows

“Leftover Hope”

This is why I love photography. This isn’t just an empty place. It was someone’s home. (There did not appear to be anyone occupying this residence for a very long while.) Out of all the dismay and the random curtains, someone took the time to put an American Flag in a window. THAT was intentional. THAT was a sign of pride, faith, and hope in our country.

Makes one wonder how the occupants fared after leaving their home. Thank you for preserving this memory and for sharing it with us.
