Stuck

Yesterday morning I sat outside and started painting my glass project. I wasn’t really sure when I started what direction I was going. It ended with a representation of seasons changing at the lake. And it was a perfect project for the jab coming my way.

Yesterday, October 4th my last living grandmother turned 93. And yesterday, she passed away. And I’m broken.

There’s more to the entire thing, I just can’t go into it right now. But I’m angry. And I’m thankful I was able to see her this past November. And my kids were able to see her. And I miss her.

I named my painting “Lakeside Seasons.” Simple. But she loved the outdoors. She and my grandfather went camping all the time. Those were some of her brightest smiles.
