Y’all I am seriously drowning in frustration at the lack of human decency I came across this morning. Not that I didn’t already know about it, but the amount of hatefulness makes me embarrassed to be human!

This church is not requiring those who go to wear a mask. It doesn’t say you can’t-it says it’s not required.
The comments from people who are living in fear are absolutely horrible. The cursing and condemning is horrendous. Once again, people think if you disagree with them you are evil.
I personally don’t wear one for many reasons. My biggest being that it’s my choice. No one wears them during the flu season, strep outbreak, colds, etc. I watched my son possibly have heart problems from the flu just this past spring. To me it should be approached as any thing else.
However, I’m not going to hate you, or unfriend you if you choose to wear one. Because that is your choice. Obviously I disagree with you. But that’s ok. I’m not going to belittle you. No one should be attacking anyone because their choice doesn’t line up with yours. Can it be frustrating? Sure! Does it mean everyone sucks? Uh no.
Completely agree! The comments online everyday are getting worse

It’s pretty disheartening

Book of Genesis chapter 4 verses 8 to 10: Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let us go out to the field.” And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel, and killed him.
Then the Lord said to Cain “Where is your brother Abel?” He said “I don’t know; am I my brother’s keeper?” And the Lord said “what have you done? Listen your brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground!…”

I do agree. It’s very frustrating when people can’t communicate — either agreeing or disagreeing — in a respectful way. Jesus told his disciples that if you call your brother a fool, you’re in danger of hell fire. (condemnation) I’ve seen much worse that that being slung around. I think it’s the anonymity the internet gives.

As for “to mask or not to mask,” Paul’s word might fit here: “As much as lieth within you, live peaceably with all men.” Sometimes we have to be flexible, when and where we can, to “live peaceably.” For me, masks are a pain, but it it makes other happy… 🙂

But if you don’t wear a mask you might infect other people. Is it this what you want?

People get infected with everything regardless. The only reason we’re able to fight things off in the first place is because we get it and our bodies adapt. If we continue to try to erase the germs, people will die from viruses because their bodies will not have the ability to fight them off.

Yes we do. And that’s ok

My oldest son this last spring was in the children’s hospital because his heart was having a bad time fighting the flu. Nobody wore a mask and flu season. They never have. And it spread the same way.
