It’s vacation time for this mama! We had our usual 4th of July swimming and fireworks.
We have set up camp at Atlanta State Park in Texas. My evening view looked like this…

Last night we found a place to eat called Pitt Grill. I was so excited to when we went in . Old school was in the house! There was a smoking side and a non smoking side. Barstools and the grill right behind the counter. And my girl got to do something….she helped wash the dishes!!!
She was so happy! It was awesome! Our waitress was Mary. If you ever go to Queens City, Texas you must stop and eat. Wonderful people. Great crispy bacon. And we are definitely going back!
On a little different note, as I was saying goodbye to my animals, I was devastated to see that my Fozzie frog had passed. I have no idea what happened. He was fine, eating, and I keep asking myself what did I not do right. My girl and I just sat on the couch and sobbed. I’m so heartbroken.

Glad you had a good time on your vacation. I’m ready for some old fashioned grilled food, though I won’t help with the dishes if I am eating out 😉
