This last week was crazy. Saturday I had a training class for CEU’s that lasted all day. The class was good, but I just didn’t feel right on the way home. And by that night, I knew I had gotten the crud from the daycare kids!
Sunday I was completely useless. I had no energy and felt like poop. So pretty much I sat at my dining table and painted.
My little described the painting she wanted. She’s happy with it, so mom win!
And then I fixed this one. It was originally purple and gold. Like pretty simple. I had some extra paint left from the ballerina skirt, and I do not like to be wasteful. So here you are. I am happy with it. I have a show this weekend so I’m really hoping to make some sales.
And I’m trying my first landscape. These are my first mountains. Not too shabby. Not Bob Ross, but not too bad. I asked an artist friend if they sucked. He said no so I’m good now haha!
You’d never know it, thank you children’s Motrin, that I was up and down with her all last night. She has a middle ear infection. And at exactly 3 hours, the pain meds wear off. Texas weather is in its own zip coded planet. 70’s this last weekend and possible snow on Wednesday. Our immune systems are so confused.
Sorry you felt awful. I hope you and daughter are both feeling better. And, thinking of you and your daughter, cool that you did paintings that made both of you happy 🙂
