RDP Friday : Regret

I want to roam and explore the beauty He has given us,

To drown my lungs in the fragrance of cool morning forest aromas-

I want to hear the crunch of leaves and rocks as I impress upon them with my stride,

To feel the leaves eerily touch my skin as the wind flows through the branches-

I want to come upon unseen treasures of creatures that hide from the human world,

To embed the experience into my memory brain and memory card-

I want to fill my children with the adventuring spirit of gratitude for simplicity,

To see them overwhelmed with appreciation for the smallest things-

And while I’m introducing that over the last few years,

My biggest regret was not making time to do it sooner-
