Tough week this past week, but some smiles still presented.
My mirror painting sold! I didn’t quite get what I wanted, but I definitely made a profit! And it’s going to a repeat customer, so I know she loves it.
We went looking for a place, and the gps told us this was it. It was not our intended destination, but I’m glad we didn’t leave. It’s a little hole in the wall in Maypearl, Texas called “The Busy Bee.” It’s been around for a long time, used to be a gas station, and was perfect for us!
I received an email from a group who noticed my photography on Instagram, inviting me to be part of their holiday art show at the House of Blues in Dallas. Very exciting for me! However it is on a Wednesday. So will that is a workday, a school night, I’m just not sure I’m gonna be able to make it work. I have to sell so many tickets to cover my booth which as you can see is pretty amazing in itself. By selling tickets, even if they can’t go, it keeps it at no cost for me and I make 100% commission on anything I sell. So I’m trying to get clarity on what the best thing to do is. *sigh*
And of course, I got to hold my new “niece” on Saturday.
Overall, there were many smiles. Tired ones, but they were there.

Cool you sold a painting. Wow, you should try to fit that art show in if you can. I’m sure holding your niece was a huge smile 🙂
