The Weekly Smile June 10, 2019

I’m trying to remember the last week! It’s been so crazy busy I can’t see straight. There’s been a lot of sadness, so let me see what brought some joy.

Finding this gem yesterday afternoon lifted my spirits. My super power eyes (that only work if my contact are in) spotted this gem hiding among brush beside an old barn. You know, that barbed wire gets in my nerves sometimes. πŸ˜‰

Yes I know it’s a corn field. I know everyone has seen one. But I haven’t ever been close like this (darn wire) and so I had to grab a shot! Plus it’s my favorite color!

My friend dropped this off for me and I’m really trying to read it! This gluten free road is hard. I’m not going dairy free, but I am trying to cut back. Not sure how it’s working since I love cheese. One meal at a time.

Oh and my sophomore needed his year with straight A’s and mastered almost everything on his STARR! His English was just a few points off, so whatever. He works really hard, and I’m really proud of him.

As a kid we used to play in corn fields all of the time – which might why farmers now put barbed wire around them πŸ˜‰ (We were very respectful, and usually were there hunting arrowheads.) Congratulations on your son’s straight As.
