Open and Close

There’s something about bare and newly sprouted tree branches. On a cloudy dreary day, there’s not too much about them. Mostly because on those days, the branches reach higher than my mood will go.

On the evenings and mornings against the sky with colors and shadows and sunshine, they are given new life. The silhouettes to me, are breathtaking. Throw in some clouds for good measure. Adds a little spice.

It’s an amazing thing to watch the seasons end and begin almost simultaneously. I don’t think enough people see it.
