A Little Birdie

Ok so I always see these pics of birds at the lake, etc. Not often do I get the chance to see them close. Or see them before they fly away. Last night was a bit different. Thought the boats and piers are still mostly underwater, they provided me with curiosity and awe of course!

I have 3 favorites. The 1st one- this guy was showing off the whole time! Wings didn’t come down. I thought he was scared stiff or flexing for a mate?

2nd one-number three of the lonesome duck. I would assume it’s a mallard, but assumptions usually get me into trouble. I loved how the water looks around it as is swims. Hypnotizing.

Lastly-Number 4. It reminded me of “The Birds” and some Cali type show at the same time. You know, the stuff you see on T.V.. I wasn’t able to Photo all of them in one shot. There were too many. I loved them all, and was thankful to walk away without bird droppings on my head, or shoulder, or arm, you get the idea. Little victories y’all.
