What Thou Holds

Deepened brick scattered through,

Casting power as you move-

Lightened stone lifting thoughts,

How it soothed cool when days were hot-

Stories some can guarantee,

Fascinating history my eyes see-

With the happy and the smiles,

For all those that travel miles-

Also sadness with followed tears,

Floating rooms despite the years-

Protected and cared for finally,

Scars and glue holding steadily-
