Shriveled Defense

I made the line,

Please do not cross-

Not one crushing word,

I can’t afford the cost-

The tone and hate,

Punches me like explosives-

Just can’t bear you,

Not even in the small doses-

Big smile fake facade,

Drenched in the darkest lies-

Begging and pleading,

Echoes are my loudest cries-

No air to grasp,

No more eyes with life-

Not good enough,

To be your wife-

So let me go,

And let my build my wall-

Because in your hands,

You let me fall.
