Tuesday Photo Challenge: Backyard

Dutch Goes The Photo has inspired and challenged us with our thoughts on Backyard.

In Texas, everything is your backyard. This was my backyard as we camped this weekend. Such a beautiful and peaceful way to wake up.

Literally in my backyard, my girl in this moment said I was the best mom in the galaxy. I need this to remind her of that when she’s a grumpy teenager.

About an hour or so in my extended backyard is Forestburg, Texas. Every year they have a watermelon festival with a parade, etc. This cabin is a historical spot, and I was drawn to the fireplace. Long ago they did everything here. I think it would make for an interesting weekend living like they did.
