A home begins with dreams-
Each room pulled together at the seams.
Stitched with love and sacrifice-
Snuggled together no matter the price.
Sometimes fear and anger strike-
Sometimes laughter and joy the like.
One day chaos comes to reign-
The choice is to cast it out or stay the same.
In shambles you may find your heart-
As the tears stream for having to part.
Yet God will heal that broken heart-
And plant those roots in a fresher start.
Be a testimony to His healing-
And decline that chaos from his stealing.
Heart is the August prompt for writing resources poetry.
A lovely poem to honour your faith. So pleased to joined in. Thank you for the pingback to the A and I Poetry Challenge. It would also be great if you could add the tag ‘A and I Poetry challenge’ to your post so we can include it in our end of the month round up.
