Finally!! Kids and I planted these weeks ago. And I thought maybe we had gotten a dud deal. You could see the buds on them but they weren’t budging. Or blooming. Patience is not something I’m good at. Apparently these flowers knew that. Well played Lord. Yes I am aware that my flowers cannot read my mind. But God can so just go with me on this ok?

In the last few days, we finally got a huge tide of rain. There’s a nice little creek in the alley. No good for the kids to have to walk to school. But, it was finally enough to wake up the flowers. And they are perfectly pink. Matching my face in the lack of patience. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Love it….patience is not an easy thing to practice all the time. I would want to see my flowers right away too. Oh well, nature does its thing and so does the Lord.
