Most of us dislike bees, of any kind. Especially as children. If you don’t and didn’t, kudos. I’m not as fearful as I once was. Obviously. But I can remember running like my life depended on it as a child. I was terrified. Oh and the screaming! I’m positive my mom rolled her eyes in the same way I do. Sorry Mom.

I look at these guys now, and I’m astonished at their design. I believe God made all creatures to astonish us, to have us stop and really thing about the details. This guy right here is busy drinking, collecting, and spreading. That whole pollination thing. What an amazing thing! Without that process, we don’t have the continuation of the beauty that we have blessed with.

Bees: Read Psalm 19: 9-10, “The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever.  The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous.  They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.”

“God spoke: “Earth, generate life! Every sort and kind: cattle and reptiles and wild animals—all kinds.” And there it was: wild animals of every kind, Cattle of all kinds, every sort of reptile and bug. God saw that it was good.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:24-25‬ ‭MSG‬‬
