Flow and Release

Today is the church memorial for my precious mother in law. It’s not really a memorial, but a celebration of her and the legacy she left.

Yesterday, we wore yellow at an English themed service, because it was her favorite color. Today, we will be releasing thousands of ladybugs in her honor. Her fave, of course.

As the rivulets of selfish heartbroken tears flow from our eyes, they will be followed by rivulets of peaceful tears. Ones to remind us that she is truly free, and waiting to greet us when we meet again. She’s in a better place than we are. And I can’t wait to hear her laugh and feel her arms wrapped around me once more.
