One of the things I love about the rain is what it can leave behind. It’s not always devastation. It’s beauty and it’s fresh starts.
Hebrews 6:7
For ground that drinks the rain which often falls on it and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is also tilled, receives a blessing from God;
Every strand, drop, blade, and speck of dirt is to quench a need. Dirt and water for healthy soil to grow the grass we love to walk on in the summer time.
Water and sunshine come together to moisten and grow.
And while the ground cries out in thirst and holds on to the droplets of water left behind, we should by thirsty for Him. We should want to drink of Jesus and share the water. For we are not called to keep the water to ourselves, but to grow the landscapes preparing them for his return.
Precious drops of His living water.
